Twin Lakes is just east of Independence Pass

One of my favorite campgrounds is on Twin Lakes at the bottom of Independence Pass that is 12,095 feet above sea level and is part of the Continental Divide.

There is usually snow around to August and there are a few trails to walk.

You can walk to the top if you want to.

East view where you drive up from Twin Lakes.

All of the camp spots are fantastic.

All of the views are awesome.

It only cost $9 to camp for an old person.

Another view from my campsite.
