This is a place I visited a couple years ago and it was the strangest place in Colorado I have been. This guy is building it all by himself. He has been working on it since 1969. I have talked with Jim Bishop and he has a few strange ideas but you can see he does things a little different.
I have been all the way to the top and in many places there are no guard rails.
Amazing windows!
Fire breathing monster!
Stained glass!
Large chairs!
Steep stairways!
Walkways I was afraid to try.
Stone everywhere.
Future elevator shaft.
Main entrance and it was free to look around. Look it up at Bishop's Castle.
