Colorado Fall Colors

On my latest trip to  the Rockies the Aspens were changing in the mountains and it was beautiful. Here are a few samples of the trees.

Just about everywhere you go the color was there.

At an old mine.

This is a relative remote area only a few people ever see and especially in the Fall. I feel very lucky.

It happens in stages over a three week period.

 A beautiful stream.

Along the road between Creede and Lake City, Colorado.

There were not many people or cars around.

Henson Creek in Lake City.

How about living there?

Great place to rest.

The headwaters of the Rio Grand River. Yes, the one that flows along the Texas. Mexico border. It starts in Colorado.

 Lake San Cristobal.

The near end of the lake. See the houses. Nice summer place.

Someday you will have to go in September.

    1. Thanks Paula, It was a fun trip and great weather. I got to stay in a great little cabin that I had stayed in before. I love Colorado.
