Do any of you remember the movie "Judge Roy Bean" in 1972?
It starred a famous actor that also has a line of food.
Texas is the state and Langtry is the small town where the judge hung out. He was in love with an singer and her name was Lilly Langtry.
The saloon doubled as a court of law when it was needed.
This was a very small room and must have been the scean of some real drama back in the day.
There was a law book under the bar that would be brought out when a case came up.
Story has it that a typical sentence for a bad crime was to take the prisoners gun, money and boots and tell them they will be hanged if they are seen in the town again. Long walk!
