River Bend Forest Preserve
Mahomet, IL
I happened upon this beautiful place and spent four hours hanging out and talking to people.
The preserve has a boat launch and plenty of parking.
The day I was there the water was very clear.
Lots of walking trails around the lakes.
I walked a few miles and enjoyed a wonderful day.
One fisherman who was doing well.
It is a nice park and I plan to go back.
