Florida at Topsail State Park

January 2024

Along the Florida Coast, 5 miles east of Destin, at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park.

Accommodations are very nice. 2BR - 2BA  Screened in porch, Daily deer in the yard. sunshine and 65 degrees.

Deer loved to graze and they didn't seem to be bothered by people.

Getting along about 3:00 PM as the lazy afternoon by the Gulf draws to a close.

The State Park has many lakes and some have alligators. I didn't see any and you can see how calm the water was. 

Some of the camping was very homey and even hand built. Along with the Airstreams and Olivers this camper trailer stood out in the crowd. 

This is another vintage camper, a Toyota Chinook out of the 70's. These can sell for as much as $31,000 today. 

This is an empty trailer site. Won't be for long! A very nice park and a lot of nice people. 

A very nice pool for those so inclined. 

Even in January it is very nice in northern Florida.
